CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CONSUMER CONTRACTS

Right of withdrawal

As of July 18, 2025

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is 14 days from the day:

  • on which the consumer or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided that the consumer has ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these have been delivered together;

  • on which the consumer or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods, provided that several goods have been ordered as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;

  • on which the consumer or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that goods have been ordered which are delivered in several partial shipments or items.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform us, GADGETTO Products GmbH (see legal notice), of their decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by letter, email or telephone). Consumers may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the withdrawal period expires .

Exclusion or non-existence of the right of withdrawal

Unless otherwise agreed, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts :

  • Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;

  • Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery ;

  • Contracts for the supply of goods if , after delivery, these goods have become inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature ;

  • Contracts for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package , if the seal has been removed after delivery.

There is no right of withdrawal for commercial buyers or for persons who are not considered consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB.

Consequences of the revocation

If the contract is cancelled, we will reimburse all payments received from the consumer , including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs resulting from the consumer choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days from the day on which we received notification of the cancellation.

For refunds, we will use the same payment method that was used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Under no circumstances will the consumer be charged any fees for the refund.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the consumer has provided proof that they have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

The consumer must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which they inform us of their withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the deadline expires. The consumer bears the costs of return shipping .

The consumer is only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.
