GADGETTO Products meets the eligibility requirements for funding under the guidelines of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy for the "INVEST – Grant for Venture Capital" program. We have therefore now registered in the directory of eligible companies maintained by the Business Angels Network Germany (BAND).
Our goal? We are looking for a competent partner with:
- Contacts with brick-and-mortar retailers,
- Distribution networks abroad, ideally in Western Europe and the US market,
- Expertise in marketing and sales as well as production and
- Interest in financially supporting our company.
And what do we have to offer? Company shares along with:

And what exactly is this patented product we started with?
We call it charging cable protection:
Motivation:
The increasing use of wireless devices is leading to the mass production of charging cables and power adapters. Contact between the charging plug and liquids such as saliva (e.g., from children in the oral phase) can cause various problems (defective charging contacts/device, charging issues, potential hazards due to the large number of low-quality power adapters with sometimes counterfeit certificates). The aim of this development was to analyze the effects of saliva in the described system and to examine the feasibility of a solution for a novel safety device using mass production methods and in a compact design for individual cables and devices. The device should be impossible for small children to open, prevent direct contact with the charging plug when unplugged, be operable with one hand, and close automatically as soon as the device is unplugged.
The system's concept is entirely novel. The recommendation for child safety is that parents should always put charging cables away – however, this isn't always the case in reality, or charging must take place even when children are present. A solution that doesn't restrict the charging function but automatically prevents access to the electrical contact on the cable when the device is unplugged has not existed before.
