We cannot stress enough how important a solid foundation in first aid for babies and toddlers is. Even experienced parents and other caregivers of babies and toddlers are always learning new things. Therefore, we are pleased to be in regular contact with such competent advisors as Stefania Utesch, a certified instructor for first aid for babies and toddlers.
We are delighted that Stefania is introducing herself on our blog today:
"It's me...
...a small, half-Italian mamma from Hamburg who has made it her mission to
To give first aid compact courses for babies and toddlers.
First aid is a subject very close to my heart and has been a part of my life almost forever, which is why I decided to take on this additional task alongside my main job. The deciding factor in my decision to teach first aid courses was the birth of my son in 2019.
He was the missing guiding hand that showed me where I belonged and made me the person I am today: A kind, honest, authentic, married woman who has a vision!
For this purpose, I completed a first aid course and obtained a certified instructor's certificate at a renowned first aid school in Northern Germany. The background knowledge I gained there, such as human anatomy, physiology, pathology, emergencies, methodology, didactics, and much more, is essential to my work!
In short, I'm now a mom with paramedic training and a trainer's certificate, who would like to share her knowledge of first aid. And so I've decided on another chapter in my life that completes me!
We had the pleasure of experiencing Stefania's exceptionally open and friendly manner firsthand in Hamburg and can only strongly recommend that all (expectant) parents and caregivers acquire essential information on first aid for babies and toddlers – for example, through courses like the ones Stefania offers. Being prepared for an emergency can save lives , and far too often the specific requirements for first aid for infants and toddlers are underestimated compared to adults. Therefore: It's best to be well prepared.
